Epsilon Phi Facts
- Charter member, Z Alexander Looby went on to be Grand Basileus of the Fraternity. He chartered many chapters after E Phi, including but not limited to Kappa Sigma at Lane College.
- Charter member, Nat D Williams went on to become the first black disc jockey in the USA (WDIA), reaching thousands of listeners daily. He was known as the Mayor of Beale Street.
- Nat D was also Editor of The Oracle, the Fraternity’s official publication. The Oracle was edited, printed, and shipped to brothers globally, from Memphis, TN.
- With over 200 financial members, Epsilon Phi is one of the largest chapters in the nation
- Lawrence A. Westley was National Chairman of the Housing Authority for the fraternity and spearheaded the real estate closing of Colonel Charles Young’s property in Xenia, Ohio. Additionally, L.A. created the Omega Housing Development Corporation.
